Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Former two time world title holder Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As both boxers participated in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
